Children's Ministries - Partnering with Parents

We are here to encourage and support parents in helping kids love God with all their heart, soul, and strength. It’s our privilege to be an extension of the home by responding to the call to make disciples. We value the role of hands-on intergenerational community in the spiritual formation of children.

“And Jesus took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them.” Mark10:16

FLASH SLIDESHOW

Sunday School
We want Sunday mornings to be one of the best parts of your child’s week. More details here.

The Sunday school hour sits between the two worship services at 9:45 a.m. During the school year, Sunday school is offered in age-appropriate settings. Family registration is required.

Preschool
DiscipleLand is our very fun preschool curriculum. Preschool 1 is a class for kids who are 3 years old at the time the school year begins. The Preschool 2 class is for kids who are 4 and 5/Prekindergarten.

Elementary
The Workshop Rotation is the format for our Sunday school. It’s an innovative way to experience Sunday school that takes seriously the spiritual development of children while providing exciting activities to engage them in a new level of learning and retention. Kindergarten through fifth grade kids rotate with their “Shepherd” to a different workshop each Sunday.

Children’s Church and Crew Kids
Worship that’s lively and fun is led by kids. You’ll want to know more about this. More information here.

Children’s Church is a place for kids to worship the Lord kid-style! Potty trained 3 yr. olds through 3rd grade children are dismissed during the Sunday worship service and go to the Children’s Chapel downstairs in the children’s wing.

Crew Kids are 4th, 5th, and 6th graders who have applied for a leadership position in the Children’s Church ministry. Crew Kids help young children know God better through Bible stories, puppet skits, prayer, songs, and dance. Everyone wants to be a Crew Kid!

Nursery
Find out about our ministry to our little lambs. Click here.

Babies to 3 year olds

The Nursery Ministry is honored to help parents disciple their children to know and love Jesus. Our team of CPR certified staff and volunteers are excited to provide a safe and fun environment for your little one, while allowing you to be in worship and in community.

The nursery is available during all worship services and most special events. We ask that your child meet our health guidelines posted at the sign-in window. Parents are issued a pager for easy access.

Also know that we would be happy to have you join us as a volunteer. You’ll just need to submit a volunteer form. This would be a great way for you to see first-hand what your little one is experiencing in our nursery.

For more information about the nursery please feel free to contact Chanel Jack at 352-3030.

Midweek Ministries
There are some great things happening during the week. More details here.

1st grade through 5th grade

Children’s Ministry is offered during Fall semester and Spring semester on Wednesday nights. With many components to the evening, kids rehearse with the children’s choir, participate in fun Bible lessons and share the dinner meal together.

Children’s Newsletter
Throughout the year we host special events that bring families closer together and closer to God. Get the scoop here.

To find out all about Children’s Ministry special events, read our newsletter online. You’ll be informed about things like Parenting classes, Vacation Bible School, the Harvest Festival, Movie Nights, and Pool parties. You’ll also learn about our special observances for Lent, Thanksgiving, and Advent.

Parenting Support
We desire to provide support for every parent as they journey through the adventure of raising children.

FPC serves families of all shapes and sizes. Whether you're looking to strengthen your parenting skills or enrich your family and spiritual life, you'll find many opportunities here throughout the year.

Parenting classes are regularly offered during our Wednesday night midweek ministry opportunities.

PIT Stops – Parents in Training – an evening for parents to support one another while guest speakers address specific parenting topics. Childcare is provided.

Community Groups meet during the Sunday school hour to discuss the sermon as it relates to us, to encourage and deepen our fellowship with one another, and to serve the greater Greeley community together as a family.

Adult Involvement
Some great opportunities to bless one of the least of these and be blessed in return ~ More about that here.

“I tell you the truth, whatever you did for the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.” Matthew 25:40
